Two-tier fountain made of cast iron.

The small Hercules is enthroned on the richly decorated base of the fountain, calmly carrying the two water bowls.

Hercules, as a mythological figure, stands for strength, endurance and heroism. The depiction as a child or youth removes some of the heroic toughness from this symbolism - and replaces it with an almost symbolic lightness.
