About us
As a small, dedicated trading company with our own restoration workshop and two installation teams, we are passionate about historical fountains. We find them in Switzerland and neighboring countries, restore them with care, and give them a new home – mainly in Switzerland, but also around the world.

Marco
When Marco took over the business in 2011, he opened a new chapter, leading the restructuring, differentiation, and expansion of the company.
His studies in philosophy and history continue to influence him, resulting in an interesting business that also nurtures “unprofitable” beauties. Added to this are his keen eye for exceptional pieces and his love for stories — ideal qualities for successful projects.
His motto: “Joy is the greatest success!”

Martin
A trained carpenter, Martin learned precise craftsmanship from the ground up and, through years of self-employment, expanded his skills into other areas.
He has already handed over his agricultural business to the next generation and then boldly entered new territory by dedicating himself to the restoration of antique fountains. A true all-rounder who knows above all one thing: getting things done. An indispensable driving force.
He embodies a generation that’s simply good to have around: "No time for photos and media – just roll up your sleeves!"

Susanne
Like a good fairy behind the scenes, Susanne ensures that everything is in order.
With care, reliability, and an eye for detail, she brings structure to accounting and administration—quietly but effectively.
Originally a teacher, she took the step into the world of numbers and successfully mastered this new field with curiosity and discipline.
“Always one thing at a time” – her motto, with which she patiently and precisely advances even the most demanding processes.

Marcel
With his love for traditional craftsmanship, Marcel ensures that every detail is expertly executed and harmoniously integrated in his role as an experienced project manager.
A trained carpenter and staircase builder, he leads our workshop and values all kinds of manual work—preferably doing everything himself. It's no surprise then that, in his free time, Marcel can be found forging, carving, or crafting custom leatherwork.
And always with a smile on his face: “Today’s going to be a great day.”

Beatrice
She lives both in the garden and in the shop. Her enthusiasm and cheerfulness make the atmosphere in the store and garden blossom. In the show garden, she sets the tone—sometimes quite literally—when the singer truly shines.
Trained as a perfume saleswoman, she has an eye for beauty in all its facets. Growing up on a farm, she knows firsthand how to tackle daily tasks—an excellent combination.
Her life motto: "And off we go!"

Dominik
With his decades of experience as a construction supervisor, Dominik successfully manages even complex projects with clear oversight, energy, and perseverance.
A trained road builder, he has continuously advanced his skills up to the role of construction supervisor, consistently taking on and mastering new challenges. You can feel this determination in every aspect of Dominik’s work—whether in planning, execution, or installation.
Because for him, “Impossible doesn’t exist—well, almost.”

Luzia
Luzia combines her two passions—photography and art—into a powerful blend. After completing her training as a photographer, she went on to study art.
With this creative background, she brings fresh energy and visual highlights to our marketing team and also serves as the first point of contact for guests, partners, and clients.
With an eye for beauty and a warm, open nature, she approaches encounters with the same care as her imagery.
Because “In the end, it simply has to be beautiful!”

Philipp
With his mechatronics degree, Philipp brings a fresh perspective to the team as a career changer and, as project manager, fulfills demanding requests well beyond the national borders.
He combines his technical engineering experience with IT expertise and a keen sense for practical solutions. With a clear vision, modern efficiency—and the belief that luck is on his side—he redesigns processes and drives projects forward with determination.
“Luck is really on my side.”

Robert
He founded the business over four decades ago, turning his passion into a profession. His father, a livestock trader from Central Switzerland, instilled in him the joy of trading, laying the foundation for Robert’s independence as an antiques dealer.
His unwavering energy regularly drives him to seek out the finest fountains. And whenever he is here in Appenzell, he pitches in wherever needed, bringing fresh ideas and new impulses.
True to the motto: "Everyone is the architect of their own fortune!"
