About Us

As a family-run business in Switzerland,
we work with gardens and places
that feel alive
and invite people to linger.

Marco

Marco

When Marco took over the business in 2011, he opened a new chapter, reshaping and further developing the company through restructuring, differentiation, and expansion.

His studies in philosophy and history continue to influence him to this day, giving rise to a distinctive business that also cares for “uneconomic” forms of beauty. Combined with his instinct for exceptional pieces and his appreciation for the stories they carry, this creates the foundation for thoughtful and successful realisations.

His motto:
“Joy is the greatest success.”

Martin

Martin

As a trained carpenter, Martin learned precision craftsmanship from the ground up and, through many years of self-employment, expanded it into other fields.

He has since handed over his farming business to the next generation and, afterwards, ventured into new territory once again, dedicating himself to the restoration of antique fountains. A true all-rounder who above all knows one thing: to roll up his sleeves and get to work — an indispensable driving force.

He embodies a generation that does things rather than talks about them:
“No time for photos and media — there’s work to be done.”

Susanne

Susanne

Working quietly behind the scenes, Susanne ensures that everything is in order.
With care, reliability, and a keen eye for detail, she brings structure to accounting and administration — discreetly, yet effectively.

Originally trained as a teacher, she ventured into the world of numbers and, with curiosity and discipline, successfully made her way into a new field.

“One step at a time” — her motto, with which she guides even complex processes forward patiently and precisely.

Marcel

Marcel

With his appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, Marcel ensures as an experienced project manager that every detail is executed with care and coherence.

A trained carpenter and staircase builder, and head of our workshop, he values all forms of craftsmanship and prefers to take things into his own hands. In his spare time, he forges metal, carves wood, or creates custom saddlery work.

And always with a smile:
“Today will be a good day.”

Beatrice

She is at home both in the garden and in the business. Her energy and cheerfulness allow the atmosphere — and the garden itself — to flourish. In the show garden she sets the tone, sometimes quite literally, when the singer in her comes to the fore.

Trained as a perfume consultant, she has an eye for beauty in all its facets. Having grown up on a farm, she learned from an early age how to tackle daily work with confidence — a wonderful combination.

And her motto says it all:
“And off we go!”

Dominik

With decades of experience as a site manager, Dominik brings clarity, energy, and perseverance to even complex projects.

Originally trained as a road builder, he steadily advanced his qualifications, taking on — and mastering — new challenges along the way. This determination is evident in every aspect of his work, whether in planning, execution, or installation.

As he puts it:
“Nothing is impossible — well, almost nothing.”

Philipp

Philipp

Robert

Robert

He founded the business and, more than four decades ago, turned his passion into a profession. His father, a cattle trader from Central Switzerland, passed on to him a love of trade, laying the foundation for Robert’s independence as an antiques dealer.

His undiminished energy continues to lead him in search of exceptional fountains. And when he is here on site in Appenzell, he lends a hand wherever needed, bringing fresh ideas and new impulses time and again.

True to his motto:
“Everyone is the architect of their own fortune.”
